Day 1: Hometown / Vancouver – Yellowknife – Aurora Viewing
Arrive at Yellowknife – capital of the Northwest Territories. Guests will be greet by staff and then transported to check-in at the hotel and pick-up winter clothing. Hotels are close to restaurants and the commercial district. After resting, guests have free time to shop and have dinner. At 9pm, transport will pick-up guests from hotel for their first night of aurora viewing. Guests can sit in heated cabins (coffee, tea, soup, meat buns and other refreshments are provided) while enjoying the beautiful aurora. The aurora viewing site also has five teepees so guests can have close encounter with the aurora. Return to the hotel at 1:30 am.

Day 2: Yellowknife Hotel – City Tour – Dogsledding – Aurora Viewing
After waking up, follow local guide and tour Yellowknife by bus. Guests will tour and visit the Northwest Territories Legislative Building, the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre, and Old Town Yellowknife. They can also shop for souvenirs at local shops. At night, transfer to the kennel for dogsledding. Staff will teach and guide guests to dogsled and travel across twisting lanes and frozen lakes. Dinner will be at a local western restaurant (personal expenditure). After resting, a driver will take the group and navigate the lakeside to go aurora hunting. Guests will continue their aurora viewing after arriving at the aurora viewing site. Return to the hotel at 1:30 am

Day 3: Yellowknife Hotel – Commercial Ice Fishing with a Net Demonstration – Aurora Viewing
Travel across a frozen lake in mid-winter in a bombardier, where you will see a stunning lake of snow and ice. Learn about the pressure ridges that create impressive ice heaves and try your hand at ice fishing, see a demonstration of commercial fishery and sample the catch. The guide will filet the fish before your eyes and cook the freshly caught fish over an open fire. In the evening, after the Chinese Hotpot dinner dinner, guests will head to the aurora viewing site for their last night of aurora viewing. Guests will be dropped off back at the hotel at 1:30 am.

Day 4: Yellowknife – Vancouver / Hometown
After free time in the morning, guests will be transported to the airport based on their flight schedule back to Vancouver or their city of departure, thus ending their Yellowknife adventure.
